These terms govern your use of the u-art.studio website and the photography services provided by UArt Studio. By booking a call, paying a deposit or taking part in a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

By accessing our site and using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms as well as our privacy policy and our refund policy. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.
UArt Studio is a portrait and editorial photography studio located in Old Montreal. Our services include:
The details, inclusions and current prices are presented at the time of booking and confirmed during the creative call.
A booking is confirmed by paying a $98 deposit. This amount is applied to the final price of your package if you select photos at the end of the session. If you select no photos at the end of the session, the deposit is refunded to you.
The deposit is not refunded in the event of a no-show. Full terms are set out in our refund policy.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST and QST) are added to the stated amount. The balance of the package is payable according to the terms agreed at booking. Payment plans may be offered on request.
Payment is processed through a secure payment provider. The applicable price is the one in effect when your booking is confirmed.
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms are described in our refund policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

UArt Studio may end a session in the event of inappropriate or dangerous behavior, without a refund.
Selected images are professionally retouched and then delivered through a private online gallery. The usual delivery time is 7 to 15 days after the session. The number of photos delivered depends on the chosen package. Final selection and retouching style are at the artistic direction of UArt Studio, in keeping with the aesthetic presented to the client.
In accordance with Canada's Copyright Act, UArt Studio remains the holder of the copyright in all photographs produced.
By paying for their package, the client receives a personal, non-commercial licence to use the delivered images (printing, personal sharing on social media, private use). Any commercial use (resale, advertising, use by a brand) is subject to a separate written agreement.
The content of u-art.studio (text, logo, layout, the UArt brand) is protected and may not be reproduced without authorization.
UArt Studio may wish to use certain images from your session for portfolio purposes or for promotion on its social media and website. Such use only takes place with your consent, obtained separately. This consent may be withdrawn at any time in writing, for future use, at [email protected].
UArt Studio makes every effort to provide a quality service. Its liability cannot be engaged for indirect damages. In the event of a major technical failure making a session unusable, UArt Studio will redo the session or apply its refund policy, to the exclusion of any other compensation. The client is responsible for personal items brought to the studio.
These terms are governed by the laws in force in the province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal. UArt Studio may amend these terms at any time; the applicable version is the one posted on this page on the date of your booking.
